Minox X-HD 8×56
Discreet binoculars, even if the "made in Germany" gave hope for something more
Vortex Diamondback HD 8×42
Considering the price, I must admit that I am satisfied with the Vortex Diamondback HD 8x42, with just one important reservation.
Swarovski EL 8.5×42 W B
In my opinion, the Swarovski EL 8.5x42 W B pass the exam. They are incredible binoculars, almost perfectly corrected, and that explains why they are among the most desired and celebrated binoculars in the world.
Nikon 8×30 EII
Great field of view, very sharp, but no rubber covering or waterproofing. An update would help
Kowa BD II 6.5×32 XD
Excellent build quality, a very wide field of view but not sharp enough and not without defects
Kowa BD 8×32 Prominar XD
Great binoculars for a little price. Of course, some compromises must be accepted.
Steiner Nighthunter 8×56
Very solid construction, but the optical qualities are not equally high. Focusing is particularly awkward.
Olympus EXWP I 10×42
Very balanced, they do everything well without excelling in anything. At the same time, they do not have any major defect, and the field stop is just perfect!!
Nikon Prostaff 7S 8×30
They are cheap but very performing binoculars. They offer a balanced view, with a large sharp central area and a border that, although getting worse, remains acceptable.
Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 8×42
I purchased these binoculars for the observation of stars and sky objects but, after having tried them for a few days, I decided to return them.
